Week: 117 (Year 3)

The first weekend of the very last month of the year. How are you going to spend it?

Question: I watched Conjuring: Last Rites yesterday. Which is your favorite or the scariest scary/horror movie ever?

I don’t typically like horror movies. But I liked "Life".
But the most terrifying and disturbing thing I watched was the "White Christmas" episode of Black Mirror. It was haunting me for like a whole week.

@Lensflare was it about the guy in the dress? That shocked me too, especially when i got compliments for. Especially how unexpected it was and not part of the story. They really know how to shock you. I couldn't do it anymore to pay for it just i don't can support this stuff anymore. Commercial brainwash. They need halp.

Besides that, i'll be devving a CMS for my daddi. I'm in a far stadium. It won't be a very generic CMS. It's really for his specific web page. With AI, we have the freedom to make things specific and single use again. Before, it would've been some generic CMS with all limitiations that it brings. No generic shit for me anymore. Template is just hardcoded and designed by banana. Also, normally I would've not started on such page at all. But I find ways to make it challgening and make it fun for myself. We don't do things because they're easy, we do them because they're hard - Sasha Gray or some president of murica. One of those.

@retoor it was the episode where they make a digital copy of you and torture you for billions of years.

@Lensflare I had that in real life. I was in such egg for two years. But that episode was good actually. It's thought trough very well. It makes sense. But who would ever do that to yourself if you know that's the training. But yeah, horror. I like subtitle one with the social credit. Have you seen the episode with the bicycles? I thought about that concept many years ago. Maybe it's a job someday. Cycling for 50 cents a hour with 2,- lunches and at the end of the day to home on your rental bike bevause you own nothing, but happy happy happy.

Ever since moving to my new apartment, most of my HW has been in boxes...

/* Too lazy to unpack... */

I've been meaning to digitize my HD-DVD copy of 'The Skeleton Key' for a long time, so I decided to unpack my Xbox 360, given how the HD-DVD drive's already been unpacked for a year, or so... When attempting to power the Xbox 360, my PSU greeted me w/ the red light...

A quick search led me to this video: https://youtube.com/watch/... . Thanks to it, I have successfully revived the PSU.

/* Or, to be more specific, just performed maintenance on it. */

Digitizing the movie as I write this comment, while I still can, given how HD-DVDs like to fail. It already happened to my copy of '300' that just died one day.

Love horror movies. I kinda enjoy those from the 1980s && 1990s the most. One of the best ones that immediately comes to mind is the 'Shutter'... the Thai one. The other ones would be 'The Thing (1982)', && 'It (1990)'. 'Resident Evil' movies weren't bad, either, although they're !as great as the games. Then, you have great classics like 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake (2003)', 'Night Of The Dead' franchise, 'Friday The 16th', 'Nightmare On Elm Street', 'The Skeleton Key' I'm digitizing right now.

Seriously... there's a lot of great horrors out there.
