Everyone wants in when it's getting pumped, everyone wants out when it deflates. It's just a big game of chicken.
The only thing that can be done is to end fiat money and bailouts. -
retoor95922h@djsumdog Copied your 'rant' straight to perplexity. It was made for it. But dogii, why y no hav written article about the fact that almost a majority of the EU wanted to push chat control on us? It's sick, why everyone so quiet about it. It's the biggest thing of recent time imho. That they even have the intention is already a huge reason to go full psycho. What the actual f. We turn into china over day. What's wrong with our media? So many questions. It's literally something to fight for. I'm many times like 'meh, privacy, people just shouting shit'. But now privacy is literally under HEAVY attack and no one bats an eye.
I would've expected some battle penguin article about it. -
retoor95922hFrom perplexity: Customer Concentration Risk: Nvidia derives 85-90% of its revenue from just six customers, with two "mystery customers" accounting for 39% of Q2 2025 revenue alone (up from 25% the prior year). If any major hyperscaler cuts AI spending, Nvidia's revenue collapses immediately. ----> mystery customers? Interesting.
Another one from perplexity, but something i questioned myself before already regarding the WHOLE AI stuff: GPU-Backed Debt: CoreWeave alone carries $10.45 billion in debt using GPUs as collateral, with another $10+ billion across other "neoclouds". When GPU technology shifts or demand drops, this collateral becomes nearly worthless—echoing how mortgage-backed securities collapsed in 2008.
Regarding last segment: they invest in those things like they're nuclear facilities that are even modern within 20 years. But those chips, they're maybe worth smth a few years. When ever earning that back? -
retoor95922hAnd regarding last part, the whole transformer model, the whole AI model format, is that feature resistant? Is our whole AI ecosystem future proof enough?
-
@retoor I'm just one guy, working full time man. I'm also focused on American news, because that's where I love. There's only so much time and I kinda hate writing /pol shit .. I've only written 8 this year; mostly stuff I felt I couldn't ignore.
I did briefly cover the United Kingdom's Online Safety Act here:
https://battlepenguin.com/politics/...
but it was just one of a lot of stories happening on the global stage at that time. You should write something! Blog about it, cite your sources. I'd help promote it if it's good. -
@retoor Did you try actually searching for any of this to see if it was true? Why the hell are you trusted some random word generator?! Use your brain to look up the reality, not what the magic bullshit Oracle priest machine is telling you.

That's not AI.
Everyone knows nVidia is a bubble. Even fucking Bloomberg is reporting on the circular flow of money between nVidia/OpenAI/Intel/AMD/Anthropic/CoreWeave/Oracle (remember, Oracle's first customer for its first 3 years was the CIA).
Even the US Government has put money into this scam by propping up 10% of Intel for .. national security or something?
So everyone can see this bubble clearly. Can anything be done about it? How do you keep a bubble from destroying everything when it's in plain sight?
Whoever is able to hold their shorts for nVidia is going to make a shit-ton (*not financial advice)
