Have anyone tried to train a neural network(CNN) with cuda enabled on laptop with nvidia mx150?
How was it? And what about another one with 1050 ti? Is the difference huge?

@Haxk20 Nvidia has way more industry support and a much richer ecosystem.

OP, you would have a fairly significant speed difference, I guess, as long as your dataset fits in GPU VRAM. 1050Ti is much better at raw number crunching performance.

1050ti wont be lightyears quicker - just a little, although for CV tasks more ram is very helpful. From my experience laptop is kind of unusable when training so its better to have some random pc with decent gpu running as a server for training.
