I might have just fucked my linux installation. Deleted the windows partition, resized the linux over the free space, can no longer boot into ubuntu.
This might have been a stupid idea - I don't know.
Can someone educate me as to why this happened and also how should I've done it?

    I'm guessing windows was the partition before the boot partition? I think that's the only way to make it unbootable. If so you should beable to use an recovery iso to reinstall grub

    @PerfectAsshole yes, win partition was before the linux one. I'm trying to reinstall grub using live cd but keep running into various obatacles on the way.
    Do you happen to have some good instructions on how to do that?

    It says after installing but it's the same steps either way
