you know what this thread is? This a sort of social engineering thread. Some one used this ranter as a zombie. Then the attacker will track you down. Since they know the os you use he'll/she'll send specific payload and exploit your system....

So.... I use Antergos... which uses arch kernel but it is as easy to install as Ubuntu... so I would say "maybe" I have a life?

@kenogo I know the kernel is Linux but running uname -r says arch :) which probably means they make some changes to the kernel ;)

@kenogo While they are compiling the kernel they can maybe include some drivers and so on... My old Ubuntu PCs were all running modified kernels because some of the hardware required special drivers and patches... It was a pain in the ass to update them tho so I am pretty sure I have a samba and print server running Ubuntu 10.04 somewhere.
