Feels man. I have to advertise myself as front-end but my true joy is DevOps and backend fo sho. So much easier to find work in front end right now.

@taigrr too bad. Ideally, mo one should be coerced into working in stuff they don't like. But one has to pay the bills...

I got into hardware! Embedded / IoT. Backend 4life homes.

Welcome. We use angular and Cordova.

Well. The company is great and I guess I make money. And as es6 grows, frameworks may disappear.

And working on full slices (full-stack stories) really eliminates blockers.

Excited to try loopback.io + json schema forms. Might save us a ton of work to have the back-end drive the front-end (for once).

What a lucky man I am that I love front-end

As a front-end developer, please, I beg you, protest as much as you can.

I'd say I can be a good middleman, I also love to do more conceptional backend shit.

BUT, don't do front-end if you're not in it. Makes me even more angry to extend some crappy script a backend wrote and someday I will murder your damn bogy scripts.

Not to be mean, but you do backend for a reason, that's why I do the other side.
