I've noticed that My system is not hanged yet when I opened two times more tabs in Firefox in comparison of Chrome.

Idk I have like a million extensions installed in chrome and I often have over 200 tabs open, my system never slows down that much. I see a lot of complaints but I never really get why... My laptop is 3 years old and has integrated graphics only, 16gb of RAM. Quad core cpu sure but nothing special.

@taigrr not sure. But I've almost equal plugins in firfox. What I remember is I face problem when more than 10 chrome windows are open. I never counted the tabs actually. I also have 16gb machine and work on Linux machine

One more possibility can be total windows of vscode and chrome.

I switched to Firefox for the same reason and now I love it.
