Hell no. Sleep is awesome shit
I wish it only took 4 hours or so for a "good night's rest" because it feels like I waste a lot of time sleeping.
But nah. Sleep is awesome stuff lol -
dmonkey23276yI love sleeping but I get your point. I always feel like there's something more interesting to do (usually watching series).
My trick is to read a book (possibly boring or written in a foreign language I know) until I fall asleep without realizing it. -
mt3o19146yDon't go that way. When I developed sleeping issues, I couldn't sleep for quite a long time. First and second nights are great, but few more days, and its a nightmare. Three weeks. After the first one I forced myself to sleep with help of alcohol or OTC pills. I was microsleeping in public transport and during lectures, doing routine stuff. And not remembering what was happening 10 minutes ago. After that one you'd do anything to get full night's sleep.

Your body knows how much rest you need. When you get sleepy, go sleep. It's that simple.
I've never understood people who have a "bedtime".
Maybe because I'm a slight insomniac, so the idea of just being able to go "Oop, time to sleep" and being able to do that is just a completely foreign concept to me.
I tend to just keep going til my body tells me to rest. -
rant1ng45676yI just spent the last month experimenting with sleeping about 2-4 hours a night.
Conclusion. Doesn't Work no matter how much Adderall you take. Eventually, you'll be a zombie and not remember what you did seconds ago, frequently. Then you'll get depression, then you'll hate yourself.
I'm still recovering. All the gains in my project just got lost cuz I crashed hard.
So either you go like the turtle, and do a little everyday, or the rabbit and crash, and while crashing, watch the turtle "zip" by.
Sucks. -
@mt3o definitely have memory problems, I keep forgetting stuff right when I'm about to Google them xD it's irritating
-
@SirusAmory this is a better way of explaining what I have. The problem being it's at the point where my health is being affected so I can't take it that lightly anymore.
-
Cannabis really helps with falling asleep. I'm being serious here, it's a legitimate medication for this purpose.
-
mt3o19146y@SirusAmory for most of the time, you're right. But look at what I wrote. Over a week with no sleeping, then attempts to forcibly go to sleep - were failing.
-
mt3o19146y@rant1ng next time try keeping straight schedule 4+2 on fixed hours. No coffee, no addreall. For not having not enough time to sleep on regular basis, use nootropil. It's nice when you have to be driving late. If you need to "rabbit" for a night, use modafinil, but NEVER for more than one night in a row.
Also, take vitamin B (the B12 mostly) and lecitin. Perhaps folic acid and vit D too.
Use ritalin instead of adderall. Slightly different substance, much different long term effects. -
@TheAnimatrix I found for the times that I literally cannot sleep, but feel tired and WANT to sleep, CBD has been a lifesaver.
Occasionally I smoke weed, but I don't like how "out of it" it put me, whereas CBD isolate just calms my brain down without any of the "high" feeling. If you get what I mean. -
@SirusAmory I'm against weed cause it kind of decreases creativity... Well I'm not sure about others having different experienced but that's my opinion. CBD sounds good but I'm still willing to fix any problem without drugs. Maybe just extra vitamins should do the trick
-
@Hubot-0x58 The fact that you even open the app and update your mood puts you in the highest zone of productivity lol.
-
@irene There was this one app that started by providing me small goals like drinking water in the morning and stuff. I could keep up with that for 4 days before getting annoyed. That should explain a lot xD

Vovixis15yA 2019 study inside the Permanente Journal identified that 67% of members reported increased sleep following taking twenty-five mg regarding CBD for every day. In another study, CBD has additionally recently been found to be able to enhance the outward symptoms of REM sleep conduct disorder (RBD). You can learn more here https://bestaniccbdoil.org/

Does anyone else feel bored of sleeping ?
Purposely closing my eyes and dozing off to sleep is something I cannot do... It's just boring.
I tire myself out until my weakness kicks in to give me a couple hours of sleep. This has been affecting my health, concentration and ultimately work and I don't know how to tackle this problem.
Trying to sleep is easier said than done, staring into a blank empty space is a huge anxiety trigger for me on top of being a less exciting thing to do.
