Maybe because they annoy you to download chrome when opening google in another browser..

I have been using Firefox from its earliest versions on, that was back in the early 2000s. This year, I abandoned it in favour of Vivaldi, and I'm happy to have gotten rid of Mozilla. Except for Thunderbird, but luckily, Mozilla doesn't have enough resources on it to fuck it up.

@irene Basically, I lost trust in Mozilla. Their updates are usually crap because they mean shit just stops working. Years ago, I switched to ESR, hoping that by the time Mozilla's fuckups would hit ESR, some addon authors would already have found a workaround to revert that. Until finally, the addons were buried and addon authors cannot really repair Mozilla's shit anymore. Plus that I read news to be aware what of their fuckups I needed to disable in about:config.
Their updates were a constant source of frustration and battle against Mozilla, and the only reason why I did them at all was to get the security fixes.
With Vivaldi, it's just different. I click on "check updates", an update is there, I install it. Shit works like before and doesn't look like a different browser every two weeks.
