I've noticed there're some business in India who send you password in plaintext. And the worst thing is anyone in their help center can change it, can login on your behalf, and can tell you on your phone..

I don't mind it too much on registration when it's a generated password and not stored as plain text. The last part of vital! When you get the password from the forgot creds feature than you don't want to do business with them 😲.
I do think there are better solutions like a one time login link.
Of course both methods should only be used when user does not create the account...

And GMX just editing the subject?!?

@hjk101 No, it was not a generated password, it was the password I set myself, sadly.

@LinusCDE It's changing the subject because I explicitly allowed GMX to, otherwise Thunderbird wouldn't pickup the spam mails (as far as I know, it might have changed by now), so in order to prevent myself having to login into my mailaccount every time I suspect something is in the spam, I'd rather have it this way.

B/c sending you a salted / encrypted password won’t serve any purpose. Than you won’t even know what your password is... duh 🙄

How's work otherwise, were you able to transfer to another position? or if not any other ways work is fine?

Also found ways to keep your own zen or should you after all return to devrant and stick to e.g. just subs?

You don't have to touch the wound anymore either, just focus on what's going on day to day and find ways to progress towards small achievable goals. A guy in here started his "year of code" challenge he's publicly following for like a month already, something like that could be fantastic for you, I am sure.
