5) Install LXDE
6) Love GNOME

2. Hate gnome and replace with xfce
3. PC wont boot on debian anymore for some reason
4. Missed debian
5. Bored and stuck on win 10

2.) install i3
3.) spend your entire time ricing this thing until it looks Fancy.
4.) use it for a couple of days
5.) turns out the rice makes it hard to focus
6.) get tired of your rice
7.) start again

@Biggy I installed on my notebook that had Windows 10 and I have 0 problems. I had one partition with W10. I defragmented the disk and resize the partition to left 100GB for Debian and 200GB for user files in NTFS so I can access it from Windows and Linux.

I have Win 10 at work. Installed Suse, Ubuntu, and Debian, because they run as native apps. In their own window. No muss, no fuss, no VM, no lag. Because you can. It just works. I know, pointless to have three distros, but I can, so I do. Command line only, but hey, it's Linux.

1) Install Arch
2) Set it up like usual
3) pacman -Syu
4) Arch won't boot

why would someone hate gnome in the 1st place?

@beleg Because I don't like the app screen like a phone (icons in a grid) but my notebook has touch screen so after a few days it's comfortable. The touch screen doesn't work well in Debian, it detect the touch as a mouse and the interaction isn't similar to a phone or tablet but at least it works.

1) install arch

3) rice it to the point where it’s so fucking beautiful
4) try to migrate to Parabola
5) doesn’t fully read the migration guide
6) corrupts the file system

7 is reinstalling, and that’s what I’m doing of my day

newest ubuntu (bionic) has a good DE imo

Then went back to i3wm

@LuxARTS Man LXDE is awesome. Just have to know how to customize and use it. It's blazing fast.

5. Install KDE Plasma as a secondary DE
6. Love Gnome && Plasma
