Asus. I had an asus laptop and everything was fine for a year, but after a year it stopped working on battery and their tech-support representative was really rude to me + they refused to fix it.

@theKarlisK this is what the tech support guy told me, right after he said that I ruined my own laptop in order to get a new one.

FWIW, maybe you'll be able to replace it on your own, if you know your way around the laptop's internals or there's disassembly videos out there. Or better yet, if iFixit covered it in a tutorial be sure to use that. They're very reputable and professional. And despite being advertised as "non-removable", most laptops (and even smartphones actually) have their batteries, camera modules and some other things removable by disconnecting a tiny internal connector and taking the module out. Sometimes they're glued in place though, which is a real pain in the ass. The videos/tutorials should cover that, but usually it's a matter of heating up the glue to the point where it becomes sort of liquid-y again.

Or just bring it into a repair shop of course.

My hp laptop lived 9 years through 3 different people. Fuck asus. And yes the support. Fuck me the support. The guy was trying to get ride of me... never again!
