    Its my way to irritrate those stupids :)

    @import-fun do they tie your shoelaces and wipe your butt also?
  • 1
    @electrineer
    No I am capable of do that

    tell me one thing
    If you installed skype in your pc and they complaint MD for it.
    He gave you warning that don't do anything else rather than programming and your work.

    How will you treat such asshole?

    @import-fun wtf is this, you are a developer you should be given freedom to setup the machine your self, of course their policies must only deny installing software other than what is related for work, but for example if they use Outlook and you want Thunderbird then that must be acceptable unless your work depends on features in outlook not available in thunderbird (can't think of any, just an example)

    A dev getting a warning for installing his own shit? -_-

    @gitpush Yes I was too shocked

    @import-fun good luck with that :\

    @import-fun @gitpush you also need to consider the licensing of every piece of software, as there are differences whether you are a home user or a business.

    @import-fun don't they have a group policy to prevent unauthorized installations? I mean if they've locked the program down in Applocker in AD, you wouldn't have been able to install it. Also, if they've whitelisted such applications, why would they complain if someone is able to install it on their own?
    It's funny how the company I work for has locked down everything. Lol it pisses me off to even work in that department. We have to fricking log in and sign in with our admin credentials to permit every outside installation. Even, users can't open a simple encrypted drive to enter password to get the files without bringing it to us or logging in with them. Grrrr but kudos to the guy for installing a 32-bit version of Windows. 😂😂

    @suprano
    I understand privacy issues risk.

    this assholes are using pirated windows and expecting their data will safe.
  • 2
    @import-fun lmbo. If they're concerned with privacy, they should lock everything down and stop whining when someone is able to do something with them. Also, not to pirate an OS.
