@rutee07 there is no possible person more depressed than i am, not even the fucking jase, i drowned in depression so deep that i no longer feel pain, my brain fires reverse psychology mechanisms which force me to laugh whenever something pathetic or depressing happens without anything being funny. i laugh often
-
@SukMikeHok wow not even jase :O Damn that's too bad :\ hope all of you ranters feel better soon :)
-
@irene snap out of it man, use your free time for productivity that will definitely make you better, been there and that was the only thing that helped :)
-
@irene I filled my time with stuff like:
1. Working on the Linux Kernel for Android (I'm nowhere close to being a kernel dev, but I started applying patches and adding IO Schedulers, GPU Governors, overclocking ...etc)
2. I wrote a small app for streaming media and transferring files over wifi between computer (regardless of OS) and Android, threw it on XDA-Developers and enjoyed working on feedbacks as they where improving my skills
3. I tackle new tech like docker, docker services, kubernetes even though I'm 1000000% sure I will never use them at work, but they make me look and plan things in a different way
4. I bought two books: The Clean Architecture (for Robert Martins) and Blitzscaling (for Reid Hoffmen) its about how companies like MS, Google ...etc reached that high level when there were others who failed miserably. It also enlighten the way I think and plan, not saying that after that book I'm gonna be the next Google CEO but more knowledge -
@irene Aside from working on my skills I do long walks, think of where I am now and where I want to be, I may not always reach where I want, but it always ends up for the best, for example I tried lots and lots of times to learn security stuff but never succeeded to understand how at least ethical hacking works (as in its tools ...etc) but I ended up knowing how to build back end services, front end websites (with shit ui lol, I'm not creative in designing) I also ended up knowing how to do mobile apps native for all Windows Phone (RIP), iOS, and Android.
-
@irene dude I've in worse, I reached a point where having a piece of bread was a dream that is hard to achieve :) Now snap out of it, the world is not ending anytime soon, nor your life will remain like this for eternity, just get out of your damn "safety zone" and go experience new things
-
@irene then find out what you want, where you want to be in the future and work on, remember you are living the past the one day you will look back at, while also building the future that you will be living, don't waste your chance on thoughts that does not change reality. Only actions change reality
-
@irene chill man, things will change, with your age you should have at least saw it once that changed to a completely different road/path/ whatever to call it
-
@irene that "better" did not last, so is that "worse" will not last. Now stop making me feel like and old man being wise infront of others XD
-

marcom4596yI had been in similar depression when being in my late 20s. 10 years later I can give one advice for sure. If you don't get out of it sooner, you may end up in a situation where you try to jump back like Marty McFly to do better cause you are lost in responsibilities. As long as you are on your own, go fuckin create your life. Once you have children, your path is creating the best road for them. I often could hit myself for being shy or lazy in the few years (20th - 30th) I missed to rule my world :)... Don't forget you only have approx. 70 years so don't waste a single on of them. By the way I love how you car about each other here.
