Just got myself acquainted with a senior gamedev dude in some unnamed startup studio that just got recently funded by some unnamed gigantic -company-that-makes-billions-of-bux. We were shooting darts and enjoying some booze when they let me know that they are in immediate need of devs for their company.
Goddamnit. Why is this sort of shit always happen when I am working already? Not that I'm complaining about my current work (it's still awesome, job-wise and pay-wise), but working in games, and all the bullshit associated with it, is still a dream for me, and most devs I know.
