I'm all for contrasting colours for accessibility but I really dislike white or light grey on black for a site. Can't quite put my finger on it but I think it reminds me too much of a mid-ninties Geocities page.

I build up little snippets of 'on-trend' designs to use with clients just for the reason above. Insidious Apple infection creeps in everything.
