Idk... Data is more sophisticated but data sounds more right. I often say data but sometimes I say data. If you could, would you call data data or would you call data data and have data on what people call data?

Maybe it's my love for British English as a European, but every time I catch myself saying "daytah" I virtually hit myself on my head and resay it as "dahtah".
Just like denns and dahns (for dance).
