What do you think? I mean we can't answer that question for you. Is the cash worth the effort to you?

@delegate212 How hard is it? I haven't used wordpress at all. It is a basic marketing site. I usually use django.
-
It also depends on if you'll only have to build the site or you'll have to maintain it.
Building a WordPress site quickly isn't the horrible part. It's what comes next. -
@ethernetzero I think I have too.. but It is a business showcase site so i don't think it neeeds a lot of maintaining.

You should also be very distrusting of any plugins you use. There are complete abominations out there in terms of security. Even a really simple site can be infected by worms just by having certain plugins installed.

Charge A LOT. It's never fast cast. Make sure your minimum is $2,000 for the initial setup. There's a lot that goes into this stuff. Write a good statement of work and always aim high for fees. You can negotiate back down (and remove features while you're at it).
Some one just asked me to build his site. I don't enjoy building sites. Especialy wordpress... I have never used it but i don't like it. But It could be a fast cash. What do you guys think?
