I came across this website: https://webdock.io/en

I really like their prices in return for the specs, but they use Let's Encrypt :\
Not sure how good is Let's Encrypt when handing over payment info and not sure if I should be trusting them anyways.

Anyone tried them?

Let's Encrypt is perfectly fine also for payments. Obviously, the server has to be configured properly, but that doesn't have anything to do with where the certificate is from.

However, remember that LE gives a DV certificate, not EV.

@Fast-Nop Thanks for the info, so now that we covered the payment part, is there by any chance you know a website where I can check their ranking? Or maybe other feedback? I am ddg right now but not sure if I'm looking at the correct place

I just let https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/ run against their server, and it reports grade A which is fine.

@Fast-Nop Thanks man, let's hope their servers are as good as advertised. Much appreciated :)

The location though - I wouldn't host in Germany. Nuremberg / Falkenstein, that rings something; maybe they are resellers from Hetzner.

@Fast-Nop what's wrong with the location or hetzner?

@gitpush For one, German hosters will not prevent you in case lawyers are pestering you.

Second, take a look at this here https://ccc.de/en/updates/... , and it becomes clear why Germany is not a country for hosting. House searches against witnesses, WTF.

I get A+ grade with Let’s Encrypt. It is more than fine for production. And free!!!! Basically, a developer’s dream.
