You don't get a "customer number". I know this because I have also bought a WinRAR licence - after I had used the "universal" key (that you can find online) for long enough.

@Fast-Nop i have no reason to not believe him. maybe it stood in a confirmation email or whatever? he needed it for his company so it might stand in a corner of some official paper.. idk

@erroronline1 maybe it's the customer number in a shop system, that could be. But the licence itself is a .reg ASCII file that has "RAR registration data" as first line, then the customer's name, licence variant (in my case single PC), UID (user ID, I guess) which is a 20 digit hex number, and then seven lines of 54 character in hex.

I didn't get any customer number when I bought my licence.

@Fast-Nop well ok 🤔... i´ll take a glance at the licence when i visit him next time. when does one have the chance to see such a rarity? maybe i´ll find out about this number.
