Are you even a web developer if you haven't banged your head on the desk coz the carousel refused to be responsive while you were busy correcting 15 other misalignments?

    I never do that.
I either do sport to let it out, masturbate or hit the wall with my fists.

I chose a different path and went towards systems/embedded dev instead, lol

I wouldn't be able to handle the stress of web dev.

You shouldn't be doing carousels in the first place because they have an abysmal click rate. Nobody clicks carousels, and the only reason why they exist is because the marketing department is full of self-absorbed dumbnuts who think otherwise.

And if they are auto-rotating, they become even annoying, confuse users and harm sales.

@makwayne for starters, not to use a carousel. If you want to present several things, organise stuff properly via categories or so. Or use a gallery.

If that doesn't work because you have 30 pictures or so, then re-think your concept - or you could just drop the last 29 anyway, it would have the same net effect.
