Well, this movie doesn't really develop the concept of AI but it sure is a movie to watch !

I absolutely love the movie, because it brings into question the whole problem of satisfaction in a robot. Can a robot ever be satisfied with just the results.
If you really take the entire piece about chess seriously and apply it to the entire turing test that was happening between the robot and the male character you realize just how deep the rabbit hole can go, philosophically. -

nmunro31908yFrom the trailer I often thought that he was also a robot (programmed to think he was human) and was the subject of a Turing test within a Turing test. I was quite glad I wasn't able to predict the ending.
