Use a library with poor documentation, then resolve to never put another human through that.

Breaking production and having to deal with backlash. No other experience gives a developer true respect for the production environment.

Look at the project that made him most proud and ask himself "Could I have done it better?". If the answer is "no", he is not ready for the industry

@DeveloperACE nothing personal! We had one CS guy in my last company job (book publishing) and nobody was really sure what he did all day. He was one of these bare-feet in office types. The carpet had an icky colour gradient leading to his seat. *barf*
