How do you guys keep track of IT news... Not financial or companies related news, but new frameworks worth looking for, new updates on know languages/frameworks?

For instance for me to keep up with flutter or firebase I do by following both the github and YouTube channel. But I learned about flutter (early on) for instance, by a random lucky search...
Am I missing on something big? A blog, YouTube channel... Because if I am not missing on something like that I know what to do in the next hackton :P

@platypus Ho yeah for web dev I also follow a podcast "syntax" (if I remember correctly).

But yeah there's no "centralized" platform is there? Or at least not "generic"

    I host my own TTRSS.

I use RSS with blog feeds and tech YouTube channels, HackerNews, Lobste.rs, Slashdot and even dev rant.

Also, write an maintain your own blog. Mine is here:

    https://penguindreams.org

Write what you learn and help the community.

@Filmaluco I can't thing of anything that attempts to cover all dev concepts in technical depth. Would be like a TV channel with the amount of content they'd need.

I collect podcasts for the tech I'm working with at the time.

@Filmaluco thanks for mentioning that podcast. Decided to search for it, and it's made by the guy I learned node.js from xD (like an online course I bought)

I stay up to date with IT news by accessing a vast range of information sources, including news websites, blogs, industry reports, and updates from key tech companies. Just as there are blogs for the world of finance like https://finblog.com/, there are also TechCrunch or Wired for IT.
