I don't understand CSS and am shit at it, moving forward I plan to treat CSS more like old legacy code I don't want to fuck with and preserving any existing working stuff.

Burned once trying to freehand off an example thinking I knew what I was doing versus preserving what was there.

    The more I worked with css and the more I understood it, the less I wanted to.

    Ok let me be a bit more clear:

    The general idea of css is awesome.
    But the concrete connection to html and the legacy burdened details of how things work in specific with the naming and the semantics of the various properties is a huge mess.
