For the Germans among us:
Do not you think that this is a lot of request for anyone who wants to do an apprenticeship at 1und1?

What else do these bloody ass cocksuckers want?
It is fucking called apprenticeship for a reason.

    @Alice lmao. If that is what they require, I could also just apply for a junior or senior job role lol
    No need for an apprenticeship.

    Well the demands are perfectly reasonable because the German school system produces functional analphabets who try to compensate with cluelessness in math. Raising the bar like that means they can reasonably expect people who can write and read sentences up to 10 words. That's something.

    As a german apprentice i'd definitely say it's okay. I mean they only require only a little bit of knowledge on this „languages“.

    But anyway if you're using java , you'll probably use a orm like jpa or hibernate anyway. Are they really required to write sql by hand , except for migrations ?

    Also compared to my company we're doing the „cool shit“ like: micro services , nodejs , spring boot, ci/cd , k8s with helm
    Feels good man :D

    @heyheni I got a miracle hattrick here: although I'm with O2, the tech change from ADSL to VDSL worked without issues (even voice calls work!), and then O2 upgraded my contract from 16 Mbit to 50 Mbit without extra charge, and I actually get 50 down and 10 up.

    @Fast-Nop how nice of them. :)

    meanwhile in switzerland you can get 10 gigabit/s for 30 euros. That's what i call "grosse bandbreite".

    @heyheni even if I had the bandwidth, I lack an 8k 3D monitor, and even if I had that, porn is not yet produced in 8k 3D anyway. ^^

    @Alice wow, didn't know that.
  • 1
    @heyheni that is very cheap
  • 1
    @Fast-Nop that mindset is the reason Germany lacks good internet connections. Who needs the internet? I've got the deutsche post to send letter. That's more than enough. right? ;)

    @heyheni well, I wouldn't pay more for faster internet. For web surfing, there is no difference between 16 MBit and 50 Mbit because of how the TCP flow control algorithm works. Downloads are faster, but what big data items would I download that often?

    @Fast-Nop today maybe... but what about the next 5 years? This is a thing where supply determines the demand. Why don't we have that 8k virtual reality porn today already? Because people who only can think of what is today and act accordingly. No! sorry that 50mbit/s is not enough. It might be today barely, but it's insufficient for the technolgies of tomorrow.

    @heyheni sure people will watch 8k 3d movies if that doesn't cost a thing - but they aren't willing to foot the bill for that, that's the thing.

    If a customer would like to have something, but is unwilling to pay for it, then he doesn't want it, it's that easy. And then it's no loss if it isn't there.

    Besides, current Hollywood shit don't get better in 8k 3d because there's only so much a lipstick can do for a pig.
