Yep. I learnt that one the hard way. Nowadays I do a step by step with screen grabs for common tasks. Really they may touch it once a month and have completely forgotten. You always have the benefit of saying refer to the notes and just resend the notes. Not only do they thank you but think you are super efficient.

Also, during training ask some questions and have them do some hands on product adds... Otherwise they may just be in never never land.
