I love how the people on here are pretty much always nice.
Yes, there are some *wink AlexDeLarge* who use strong language, some dirty jokes and sometimes there are topics where people don't agree on but I've never seen any honest insults or toxic behaviour (other than the opinion on your shitty client or boss lol).
No annoying trolls (the nearest to a troll I know on here is Jase but he's fun and mostly welcome here).
No spam/ads from users (only maybe recommendations).
And the most unbelievable thing is that devRant itself is free, adfree and based on the community voluntary donating for the server and work costs.

Dude, devRant fucking rules.

    Not trying to bring you down, but there have been a bunch of spammers and really toxic people here. Luckily, we either make them give up, or dfox / trogus ban them.

    devRant is one of - if not the single most amazing place I've ever come across. Sure joke/meme expansion is a problem (IMO) and sometimes there's shitty advertisers with crap like fuckdolls (which usually get their own challenge of "how many downvotes can we drill this fucktard into). But overall I really like this platform. Well worth the devRant++ and since recently the occasional avatar purchases ^^

    I love how the power of a single programmer and a single designer has united us all together. Really makes u think how powerful we devs are

    Got here yesterday and I’m still kinda scarred from reddit but what you described is the general feel I’ve been getting here so far! At some point I’ll get over the reddit “fuck-all-humanity” PTSD and start feeling really comfortable here :)

    I feel like, when you visit some other social media/forum, everyone is going apeshit and everything is on fire 🔥 (Especially Google+, that thing is gone beyond hell that's made out of shit)

    devRant is a 'happy' place for sane angry people 😊

    @ScaryException that's boring. I tried this new css5 feature
    overflow: fluid;

    @BambuSource
    Did you use the html5 loading bar tag too?
