@Cyanide Unfortunately I’m working in the application all that time so screensavers would get in the way a little.

@Cyanide Ah, I didn’t know that. I’ll just switch my left and right monitors from time to time in that case. Thanks.

Condor315487ySwitch to a more modern display technology :) last time I used CRT was years ago. Nowadays with LCD panels, I've never experienced this issue even when I work on one monitor and leave the content on the other one unchanged for hours, with - needless to say - screensaver not kicking in because I am still working on one of the monitors. Worth the investment! -
xewl40527yMy Iiyama ProLite panel also shows this behaviour. While the exact same screens(2) from the G-Master series does not (yet...)
Mostly to blame this type of memoryscreening is the type of panel, where the lightsource is always on, but blocked by a layer on top of that light source, where that layer doesn't properly react to the changes in voltage regulation.
I think mine are LED TN panels. GK2488something.
Sometimes I go in-game (CS:GO) and I flash myself a few times lmao

It would appear that having the same application open for 14 hours a day everyday takes its toll on your monitor.
