Well is the programming salary enough for living on?
How important is money to you?
How important is programming to you? -
The programming salary is just enough to meet the ends.
I love programming but I need money for my student loans but I'm afraid if I go tech support now, It will be hard to switch to developer profile later. -
@HarleyQuinn Ok so more questions lol
Do you have a degree in CS or something like that?
Are you already a good programmer or are you learning?
Do you already have an offer for a programming job or just tech support? -
@HarleyQuinn Well you could always keep programming on the side to develop skills and a resume of personal projects. Then once your loans are paid off, begin the transition.

practiseSafeHex14I GOT A JOB OFFER!!! IM OUT OF THIS FUCKING HELLHOLE!!! 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
I'm currently a fresher and just got an offer for support reliability engineer( tech support in simpler terms) and it pays 5 times the average in my country with lots of perks. Also it involves no programming. I'm interested in programming, should I settle for a developer profile which pays less or a tech support which pays almost the double?
