i remember when i heard this one as a joke about IT support guy being called while in a restaurant.

he was respondimg to someone on the other side asking about frozen process.

"oh, just kill it. what? the children? yeah, kill the children too!"

it was very important for the joke to properly describe/act out reactions of other people in the restaurant who overheard it...
... it was a pretty good joke
