This pretty relevant. My extroverted friend drags me everywhere he goes. As a result, I find people to be a lot less terrifying.

Haha that's basically how I met one of the best friends I could ever wish for. (He was the one that adopted me and he also failed at showing me how easy is to get along with people haha)

I am an introvert too and it is true all my friends are extrovert and they spoke to me first involved me in their conversations when I started my career and now I am doing the same to newbie introverts who are joining my team making sure they are comfortable.

@Quezler For me I realized the qualities of my friends that were extroverts and that people respected them more for it. So I faked it until I really became an extrovert

@Loading any tips on how to fake it?
  • 2
@Quezler Mimic extroverts exactly. Smile a lot, people like that. Act real calm with yourself and make some jokes

I still haven't been adopted, it's just me and my cat.

It's really hard to find someone to have real intellectual debates these days, many like foolish jokes more than serious discussions for anything ranging from CS, history, physics anything significant...

    Is it just me ?

@CuriousDroid Nope, I feel that as well unfortunately, these days people are so empty inside and are "fake" so it's really hard to make friends.
