.gitignoring using wildcards

Better than a colleague who didnt have a gitognore at all...

@RantSomeWhere Because usually I start gitignoring whole directories instead of suffix only patterns and that is where hell begins.

Ignoring just *.o is fine.

@gathurian Well, project I am contributing currently to has no gitignore at all. Reason for that (because I added one and got response on that by maintainer) is that he as maintainer need to exactly know what is and what isn't in repository and gitignore destroy this insight.
