    Well study then and become a good full SLACK PHP developer. Expert in PHP and in chatting in Slack 😁

    @TylerDDevRant hells naw fam. Shit sucks for those that ain't interested in design.

    It is getting hard now to be good at both frontend and backend unlike before it is quite manageable. There are lots of frameworks to study. Oh well that's life.

    Glad I can manage both ends.

    Frontend is for someone else. The interesting stuff is the backend object storage, and the code that interacts with it. The virtual hosts and rewrite conditions on the http daemon. The daemons that make it possible. The modules and their dependencies. The security model of the server. The kernel options that make the server best suited to its tasks. The static and dynamic routes that enable communication between backend scripts and external APIs. The filesystems and storage systems that optimize I/O for the whole thing. The hosting of the server itself, and setting up reliable ways to monitor and access the server in case of emergency.

    That's the interesting stuff. Making the text on the site line up correctly it's for the sexies.

    @bahua well if the user thinks it sucks because the text doesn't line up correctly then all the backend stuff is worth nothing.

    You're putting it in the wrong hole

    @greenscar

    Of course. And all jokes aside, I have nothing but respect for the people who slog though frontend. I just don't have the interest or patience for it.
