That's how you add random access functionality to hdds!

Well over the years i had collected a lot of old hdds. I dissasembled few of them for parts and curiosity. Now i regret my decision when i stare at this pic because i realise they could still had data on them to discover or i would be able to reuse tem.

I'll do this too one day, I have two of them that are busted and I can't see another use for them :)
