Just a quick question: do you think investing in Ruby/on Rails is a good choice? I really like the language, but every time I mention it I feel like an alien.

Actually I feel the same. About to commit on Laravel now but I just love the language (using it for small scripts and stuff, never touched Rails yet so yeah).

Ruby is a fantastic language, and rails is great framework. It’s worth learning even if you don’t end up using it on your daily job. Lots of things you can learn from rails architecture.
