From what I saw practicing KISS to the letter solves the current problem for just the thing client wanted and usually completely skips on scalability/flexibility of the solution. I would love if I could rename that to KIRSS - Keep it Reasonably Simple Stupid :)
Doesn't have that "bang" as the old one but it forces you to think :D
