Generally speaking I hate cars but love driving as long as the traffic isn't too bad. I've had an 03 maxoma for 3 years now and I've barely spent anything keeping it running. My Saturn before this was crap and I spent what I paid for it twice over to keep it on the road. As long as the car can get me from A to B with music and a comfortable temp, I'm a happy camper.

I've got a '17 BMW SUV that I love, but I'm also excited for the lease to finish up so I can try something else (something cheaper possibly.) And then a Subaru money pit dragcar that I'm about $100,000 into, and every day I tell myself "I could've saved and had a Ferrari or a house by now," but that would actually be sensible and who wants to be sensible? Not me apparently

@Condor get something with ~100hp, that eats 6 or less on 100, and you thinks look cool. I wholeheartedly recommend volkswagen but thats just my preference, it doesnt really matter.

Where I live (rural New England) it really doesn't make sense to not have a car. Everything is too far away and small towns have no public transportation.

I daily/rallycross an '06 WRX, and hope to solo/club race my '72 Lotus Europa (which needs a bit of restoration work).
