That moment when you see only rants with max 6 upvotes and switch to algo only to realise that you are already on algo

Within the next week algo will also start including older rants it thinks you will like that you haven't seen yet.

how does it work actually? Is it using something similar as the Reddit Algo?

@long yeah, right now it's a decaying time algo ranked by score, similar to Hacker News and Reddit.

But tonight, we launched a 50% test of the new algo. The new one is very different from other feeds as it tries to only show you rants you haven't seen and has a lot of personalizations to your tastes.

@dfox I always wondered how the algo feature worked! Now looking forward to the new one! :)
