Here we go!

today i decided this distribution to be my first linux experience. i hope for the best.

thanks @Jilano installing it in a vm was easy. making the musthaves work will be interesting. keeping my fingers crossed for wine running properly.

@Jilano The funny thing is I encountered proplems installing manjaro more than I did installing arch :"D

@ls-la you do realize that Manjaro is Arch right?

I do, a pretty much pre-configured one. The problem was with its installer

I actually installed arch first, used it for about 4 months, then installed manjaro because of its kernel manager as I had some problems with the latest kernel, even the lts one

Any hints for getting it to play nicely with HiDPI display? Everything is SO SMALL on my laptop.

Manjaro installed, wouldn't boot, we're back on Ubuntu!
