Gradle build, grade sync, updates and by the time you are done you forgot why you opened android studio in the first place.

@rEaL-jAsE I have a Ryzen 1600 and 16GB RAM. No issues on Android Studio here. Running on Linux though

@CallbackHell Unfortunately, not everyone can afford 16GB RAM. Especially if its the company that decides the specs of the laptop they give you.

@kowkow that's true. But it runs well on my laptop with 8GB too. The recent updates to AS have done good work on optimization.

But I do know the pain. I used to run it on 3GB ram for over a year.
