sigfried5367yHe is actually correct.
Googling means searching on the internet. Not searching on Google.
This is so in Dutch and English. -
Buggz6217yGoogle has become synonymous with what they do best, just like Xerox, Post-it and other products that have become verbs/nouns.
-
Well technically duck duck go just shows non-personalized google results. So "googling in duck duck go" is technically correct.

🦆🦆🦆Duck out.. -
@TheCommoner282 i honestly prefer just using "searching" instead. if u used those and really become a thing, what im afraid will happen is all the "edgy" kids starting to use it without knowing the history of it, or worst, they will show it off and call others who dont use ddg as stupid or whatever, they dont even know the difference between google & ddg.

@sigfried Oh how much I hate those terms.
Same as apping, I fucking refuse to use that word as it derives from WhatsApp 😡 -
@Emphiliis It's the fucking default for messaging in general in the Netherlands 😡

Googling has became a work in the dictionary, meaning search on the internet... So yep, Its a word...
Feel lucky for not saying I facebooked X, meaning I befriended X ...

Me: Dude what?
