@rawdreeg: An account I'm working on requires us to support Firefox 2... Yes Firefox v2.
-
rawdreeg3278y@ingenioushax sometimes I can't help but wonder what goes through the head of the person drafting the requirements
-
@rawdreeg: I think they have just copy and pasted the requirements since 2000.
@fuckfuckityfuck: My thoughts exactly. Needless to say, the original web app looked like a 90s throwback. -
@rawdreeg yeah, thought so. Just don't do it, tell them the framework doesnt support it and insist on it.
-
yusijs12508y@JonasCodes yeah, unless it was agreed in the scoping, I'd tell them to fuck off in a very polite manner.
-
@yusijs so why did you go with ng then? If you knew it beforehand, this kind of makes it your own fault...
-
rawdreeg3278y@yusijs exactly wasn't agree on the scoping. I received an email with a list of features not working on IE. And I said yeah, the framework we agreed on doesn't support that version of the browser. And then they were like, we gonna need it to work on IE 8... Was like... Whaaat?
-
yusijs12508y@rawdreeg tell them you need to rewrite from scratch and double the costs for that to work. :p
