I am just not so sure what they expect.. They repeated that they are very flexible in with the work times and they know that I am not planning to work full time.
I think the reason for my bad feeling is that I planned to go but I missed the train 😝😝 feels like failure -
Paid or unpaid intern?
For me, unpaid intern literally does the hours they want, come in, don't come in... Upto you.
Paid intern would have a minimum hours set, a few "you must be here" sessions and beyond that just do what your paid for. -

Paid intern. I get payed hourly so a little more or less doesnt matter. I said I will do 30h per week a while ago... Its more like 20h now :/ Although, maybe they are fine with that, usually they struggle to think of a task I could do... I work there since 2 months and I am just starting to work with their code because I had to get used to all the surrounding tools first.
I know C++ but thats not in the least all there is to it. There is so many things to know... bash, makefile, all the development methologies like testing, Revision tools, using git (properly)... But by now I got the basics down.
