I have never lost data before, I lost my memory once instead.

Yeah this is how it's done:

Make .zip files every month & index them to a text file.

Upload those files to Cloud.

If you need a file in a month, make a backup of it, but do not stash them in a zip.

If you won't open "Year 2014" folder in like 6 months, you do not need it. Remove local copy.

Make folder for everything.

My pattern is like this:

Oh I had about 4,5 times of memory lost as well. Pretty cool except that one time where I lost my whole backpack with my cash and everything.
