RANT!

I still struggle to find the suitable address book software for our company. It supposed to be secure and inexpensive. But how so? It's flipping not possible to have both!
My boss answer to almost everything I say: Just do it! - in German: einfach machen! Please hulp!

@heyheni not even a CRM tool. an internal address book that can sync on Windows, Linux, OSX. Some sort of vCard/CardDAV on our server.

@2erXre5 I used to work with pipedrive as well. It's an inexpensive alternative to salesforce. I got the feeling that my boss wants some sort of quantum communication system and I'm responsible for it. Please kill me softly 😂🤣!

@teganburns thank you for pointing that out. 🙂

It's probably way out of scope for this, but I find the System which SULU (demo: https://sulu.rocks, page: https://sulu.io) uses quite nice. So if you need anything, build it yourself ontop of the one they provide in the backend...

But yeah, this then brings a whome CMF and Symfony with it plus requires a webserver. (You could wrapp it in electron though :P)

We have used nextcloud with groupware addons for over a year now. Pretty stable and you can sync contacts, tasks, calendar with pretty mich every phone/software which supports caldav and carddav.
