I wish SO let off-topic, opinion-based, etc question floorish because they're actually pretty helpful. for example someone asked if c++ is a superset of c and the thread was closed, some asked if kotlin is faster than scala and it was closed... In that same thread I read a comment saying that SO is giving an opportunity for websites like quora to grow because of this.
