Best way to learn something new?
-By doing it. Practice makes perfect.

I wasted so much time and never got anywhere because I wanted to get it right. Fucking up is part of the learning process.

That's one of the biggest things that kept me from getting into coding sooner than I did. I saw it as this big monolithic thing I had to 'master or get out'. Anyone can learn how to write a Hello World in a matter of hours - likely minutes - but it took me decades to sit down and actually do it.

I think I’m in that stage right now where I want to learn everything about the IDE, language and Frameworks first in iOS and then go out there apply for jobs.
