what do you think generally about SoloLearn to gain basics for a new language for example ?

I think it depends on your overall programming experience. You are taught how variables and functions work all over again each time you start a language course, which is great for coding beginners, but a little annoying for more experienced devs. Also I find the mini-quizzes that you need to complete after about 10-30s of reading really tedious on a tiny phone screen, but that's just my personal preference.
