I feel hopeless after Unity fails to start/run under your primary user but works fine using guest user and other user in the system. And i did my research to fix it, but none seems to work. :(

The last thing i did to my laptop that might cause the error is executed the commands below:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Updated all packages installed with choco yesterday.

    npm won't start...

    Completely doomed.

    You are not alone here!

I already fixed it - thanks to my friend's advise.

    Steps:
    1) at your user home, move . Files and . Dirs to seperate dir for backup
    2) create new user
    3) copy all . Files and dirs from the new user to your user home
    4) change ownership to your user
    5) log out and login

    That should work.

I was confused how unity was present on Linux ( the game making software) . Should I be scared that it took me 2 min to realise what you actually meant ...
